The best way to learn about something is to hear professional experience. In my research for the creation of my interactive novel, i found a few post made by people with experience int the field.

The first page is written by a man by the name of Paul Martinez. Paul is a well accomplished artist with several books and awards. In his writing, he discusses several aspects of writing a webcomic which was good because I had no idea some of the basics that are needed to create one. He helps to decide which way to present it on the internet is best for you plus the basic between the design process itself.

The second page that I found was something a really liked. The page is another artist describing how to create a webcomic but it is a lot more blunt. The guy that wrote this is not sugar coating the fact that writing a comic is not an easy task. But throughout his discussion, he makes a lot of very good points and is very knowledgeable of of the process.
